Our Story:
Lucky Spikez finally launched in 2020, after talking about a cultivation business for years. The pandemic shutdowns gave us time to test the concept of doing small high quality grows versus a mass production farm with thousands of plants. These small batch grows allowed us to focus on the needs of each plant as they grew and bloomed. We also receive feedback from our vast network of experienced weed heads. They became our marketing panel, filling out surveys to see how their experience was after a session. We adjusted nutrients, lights, and soils based on that feedback from each grow.
Some customers have asked what the company name is all about. Well, the name Lucky Spikez was a parody of an old cigarette brand called Lucky Strikes in which a well-circulated urban legend stated that this name referred to the presence of marijuana in some cigarette packs. We substituted Spikez instead of Strike to the name to signify the sticky trichomes on the bud that stores all that THC which gets you high. These trichomes look like spikes when viewing them under a magnifier, starting out clear, and then getting milky as they fill with THC. My friend Lucky added the “z” for the spell error to create more of an urban street vibe.
